​MASON COUNTY RECEIVES $500,000 HOUSING REHABILITATION GRANT TO 
HELP HOMEOWNERS WITH REPAIRS

The Mason County Board of Commissioners accepted an agreement with the State of Michigan granting the County $500,000 for homeowner repair projects for the CDBG Housing Improving Local Livability (CHILL) program. The County will provide $50,000 of matching funds for additional rehabilitation projects under this program.

Homeowner rehabilitation funds up to $40,000 per household are available for residents of Mason County with incomes at or below 80% of the area medium income (AMI).

Ludington Area Jaycees ​
​Charity Mondays

As part of the Ludington Area Jaycees Mini Golf mission, the course donates 30% of profits each year back into other non-profit organizations and initiatives in the community. One way the group accomplishes this is through “Charity Mondays” where various organizations get 30% of profits on Mondays throughout the summer.

​The Meijer Simply Give Fall 2024 campaign has begun!!

WHEN: Sunday, September 29, 2024 through Saturday, December 28, 2024.
Double Match Days* Saturday, December 14, 2024. 

*For every $10 Simply Give card added to a customer order, Meijer will add $20, resulting in a total $30 contribution.​​
