Winter Simply Give Campaign
December 28, 2025 through March 28th 2026

The Simply Give program is designed to help feed the growing number of hungry families in the communities we serve. Our goal is to be good stewards of the generous contributions by ensuring they are only used to purchase food items to stock pantry shelves.

Double Match Days
·       The upcoming campaign’s Double Match Days will be held on Saturday, March 7th and Saturday, March 21st.  
·       For every $10 Simply Give card contributed across both days, Meijer will provide $20, bringing the total contribution for a single customer purchase to $30!

MASON COUNTY RECEIVES $500,000 HOUSING REHABILITATION GRANT TO 
HELP HOMEOWNERS WITH REPAIRS

The Mason County Board of Commissioners accepted an agreement with the State of Michigan granting the County $500,000 for homeowner repair projects for the CDBG Housing Improving Local Livability (CHILL) program. The County will provide $50,000 of matching funds for additional rehabilitation projects under this program.

Homeowner rehabilitation funds up to $40,000 per household are available for residents of Mason County with incomes at or below 80% of the area medium income (AMI).
